• 2011vigilrun.jpg11/10/2011 - Scott Air Force Base, Ill. -- More than 400 Team Scott members came together for a 24-hour relay run to honor a fallen Airman during the Air Force Sergeants Association's Veterans Day vigil run here Nov. 4 - 5.

    The event honored Senior Airman Bradley Smith, a native of Troy, Ill., who was killed in Afghanistan Jan. 13, 2010. His parents, Gary and Paula, were on hand for the event to light the vigil candle and observe the opening dedication to their son.

  • habitat.jpg10/29/2011 - Scott Air Force Base, Ill. -- Members of Scott AFB AFSA Chapter 872 continue their long time support of Habitat for Humanity builds.  Their current project is the Cole Street house in Collinsville, Illinois.

    Update:  12/17/2011 - Scott Air Force Base, Ill. -- Chapter 872 provided additional manpower and helped Habitat for Humanity install the new doors and windows on the Cole Street house in Collinsville to help seal the house for work during the winter months.

We invite all Enlisted Airmen to join us at our monthly meetings which are held in the Enlisted Lounge at the Scott AFB Club on the Second Thursday of each month at 1130.
