Thank you for what you have done and will do this weekend to honor our Veterans.
A couple of things to know about this weekend’s vigil. First, if you want a t-shirt for this event the cost is $10 for either the Long or Short sleeve, this covers our cost of $9.76 per shirt. AFSA will also be giving out an Event Wristband with every T-shirt purchase while supplies last. I have attached a picture of what the bands look like. If you pre-ordered your shirts you will get a wrist band.
Dress warm and dress in layers! We will have a heated/lighted tent during the event, but the weather this weekend will be chilly ranging from the 40s up to 60 degrees. AFSA will also provide Hot Chocolate, coffee and bottles of water for the event participants.
If at all possible we would for you to support two things. The opening ceremony at 1640 today and then the Flag Folding on Saturday at 1700. SrA Bradley Smith's family will be in attendance and I am sure it would meet a lot to see how many people were involved.
