Chapter 872 has a very outgoing operations program to aid our membership to get involved in a varity of different ways. We provide support to the local community through visits to Veterans Homes in the area, donate clothing items to improve the success of job applicants, provide support for the local meals on wheels, volunteer to check ID cards at the front gates each quarter, just to name a few.
Additionally, we keep our membership appraised of key pieces of legislation that effect the quality of life for our Air Forces enlisted Airmen.
We also have an aggressive membership program that has vaulted Chapter 872 into the elite Top-10 of all AFSA chapters. We do this through membership drives at the local ALS, BX, Dining Facility, and the Scott AFB Veterans Appreciation Day.
Our Airman's Activity Coordinator is always busy strategizing new ways for the chapter to support our Airmen. Chapter 872 hosted a cave exploration tour last year and we are currently sponsoring two Soccer teams comprised of Dorm Residents in the local Belleville Indoor Soccer League.
